Systematically Developing Your Downline

Most downlines are full of followers that never give their financial future a moment thought. They just blindly follow an upline leader who most of the time is not really using a system nor very successful in their market if they are using one. They just do it because that is what they were told to do and do not have a better idea. Read on if you want to find out a better way. Understanding your primary goal is the key to systematically developing your downline.

Secondly, measuring a new distributor’s commitment has to be part of a successful systems initial activity because otherwise you will never figure out who is in and who is out. In order to systematically build a downline you have to know who is in for the long haul. Once you know who is following it is possible to build lasting relationships with these people so you can work together towards the ultimate goal of earning Residual Income. There are lots of ways to be successful at Network Marketing once you have people to work with.

After you know who is following you and trying to build a Residual Income downline themselves you can train them and treat the rest like retail customers. The first question you should really ask is are you focused on building lasting residual income as your number one priority? There is not much use thinking you can help anybody else unless all of your actions are focused and directed towards that single goal: Residual Income. Once you get focused, your actions will easily form a simple basic system that is duplicatable.

A lot of people go crazy over products. Products are good and quite necessary, but they do not build Residual Income by themselves. It is the profit that flows from their referrals and sales that build the Residual Income. Selling retail is necessary and its profit will help you fund your business, but the goal is not ever to be the biggest and largest retail outlet. You can go work at WALMART to do that. You have to remember that you are looking for a few people who actually understand that they also are building Residual Income and their efforts need to be focused solely on that activity as yours are. If you have to sell to 1,000 customers to find these people that is ok, just never fall in love with the products you sell. Save your affection for the compensation plan that pays you the cheques that are your Residual Income.

Inspiring leaders in a downline is a learned skill and it is not something you can do by simply repeating the endless good news from your network marketing company. However it is a waste of time trying to inspire some people who are not willing to learn something new. If everybody was born successful at talking with people then civilization would be very different. Gone would be the three word sound bites. Gone would be advertising slogans.  Politicians would explain themselves in English.

Training like Big Al’s Fortune NOW goes a long way to sorting out our thinking and focusing our attention on what is important – always look for new prospects and never stop training your downline to do the same.

I personally measure somebody’s commitment by the simple act of them joining or not joining the Big Al’s email mailing list. I figure that if the new distributor cannot do something simple like let a training expert each week challenge his or her thinking they probably are not ready for some mind blowing skills training. You wanted to know how to systematically build a downline. That is actually easy! Focus all your activities on one goal: Building Residual Income. A large downline of customers is not important or even critical. What you need is a downline that pays significant recurring Residual Income so that those you lead have a story of success to tell their prospects.
