That is a very good question. Who are you working for your suppliers or yourself? Who gets paid first your suppliers or you? This question needs to be settled before you start because if you are going to work for your suppliers you might as well send them a resume instead of building your own business.

First off you need to understand that you must get paid first. There is no exception to this rule. Yes you have to pay your suppliers and yes you have to pay your taxes, but since you own the business and you come to work every morning you have to get paid first or your motivations will soon evaporate.

With our Tahitian Noni International Independent Product Consultant Business we get paid first. Since Tahitian Noni International processes the credit cards during the product ordering they split up the order cashflow when it is placed. We get paid every Friday our portion of the orders plus once a month a second residual income cheque based on the volume of business we have done since we started in 2002. Of course we have to pay the taxman but that is it. Shipping, warehousing, products, staff, accountants, lawyers – Tahitian Noni International takes care of all that.

So when you are thinking about starting a business make sure you have a plan to pay yourself first. We did and it makes a huge difference. ( read the series of posts at once )
